Why did you decide to work at Shaker?
When I interviewed with the office manager 24 years ago, I never heard of a company that (at that time) created and placed “help wanted” ads. I thought it was an interesting, unique company. It was family owned. (Plus I needed a job!)

What is the environment like at Shaker?
We have a great working environment here—from the up-to-date equipment and technology, to the kitchens and TVs and nice workspaces. It certainly gives you a great feeling when walking into the office every morning—that you are working in a warm, friendly environment. That, in turn, puts you in a good state of mind—and you are more productive!

What qualities describe your colleagues.
Friendly, warm, helpful, thoughtful, and caring. It is important to have good colleagues that you work with every day. 

What do you find most rewarding about your career at Shaker?
Of course, it’s the sense of accomplishment regarding my position and my department. Knowing that my thoughts and ideas count  and matter. What I do is important. Plus the great group of people that work here.
