Challenge

To maximize the power of referrals to find and keep professionals with highly specialized skills, Shaker sought to develop an ERP communication plan and creative platform that:

  • Complement the company’s established brand
  • Convey its innovative culture
  • Is compelling, accessible, and effective across locations

Solution

Shaker partnered with the Orthopaedic and Wound Management GBUs and the Smith & Nephew branding team to develop the ERP:

  • Multimedia-based ERP based around detailed ERP Intranet page.
  • All materials similarly branded and linked to Shaker-designed jump page.
  • Interoffice contest sponsored by Smith & Nephew to name ERP: “Talent Scout.”

Results

The “Talent Scout” program has received great response from management and employees, and been instrumental in increasing the number of referrals leading to hires.
